today chess and i had a girl day. we had school and during lunch we walked into town where chess went absolutely crazy at Arthur Barnett's where they are having a 50% discount off all John Sands greeting cards, and i went only mildly crazy for two reasons. some of the cards were pretty nice, but i was mostly kicking myself for buying two cards the night before, for an amount that bought me 6 cards today. but all the cards are different, the two cards last night are extra special and definitely worth it. i now really understand what chessy means when she says its so nice to be able to bless people and do a little something just to make them smile. so with all the pretty colours and some glitter, chessy was chessy and went berserk. haha

we came back and cleaned the house, then jen+carol went out, and chess and i spent time mooching in front of our comps before i went up and made us our first successful dinner (: instant pasta for the english rose and instant porridge for the samsui woman. i am quite tired now, but felt like blogging.

mum comes back tmr, and i am very very excited - beyond excited - but at the same time sad that she has to leave sg. but when we next go back to sg, it will be so much fun with all of us home with the rellies from sydney, like i told co, it will be like a party everyday!=D at the same time again, hans' mother and gma leave tmr morning. they've been here for the week and it was so nice to get to meet them. they are the loveliest and his gma is really cute. it's quite crazy with his family's departure and my mother's arrival. always someone extra super around (:

after picking mum up tmr, chess and i will rush to waverley where i'll babysit the girls, and chess will tutor peter.

Sometime this weekend, in order of importance, i have to 1) spend time with my mum 2) spend time with my boyfriend 3) do my long essay 4) do some chem 5) help clean the interior of hans' car 6) build a guinea pig run for hans' pet. well, (5) and (6) sort of equals to (2). ok, with my busy busy weekend in mind, i think i will sleep early tonight and recharge.
