to all my wonderful friends who scored well beyond their wildest dreams: liz, lyd, ra, xiao, eddie, jas, nette tan, crystal, claire, kristalle, and the list goes on... GOOD JOB! XOXO i'm so proud for those whose tireless efforts finally paid off. :) and for those who normally fail but passed amath... YOU ARE INCREDIBLE!! (and thats all the people in b5!)

and for those who didn't do as well as they wanted --- well, its over now, take a big stride and keep walking forward. you've still got the rest of your life to prove to yourself (and others) that you're better than what your Os reflect!

work here has started coming in. it's quite depressing seeing it come in, but on the other hand, it is also a fantastic way to absorb your mind and for a few hours, you just don't think about anything except the questions and sums on the paper in front of you. its a nice diversion from the things that ordinarily plague your mind.

today for english we had to edit an informal sentence into a more formal, academic statement. it was quite fun. basically twisting simple words, and turning the sentence into gobbledygook. the english I take here is academic english. :S that means no more creative writing and such. it's grammar, vocab, passive voice, adverbs, and all the crap that comes with hoity-toity posh nosh english. i think its nonsense. hahaha, i still don't even know how to explain grammar. it just is like that because it sounds correct!!!! thats my explanation for everything english, much to the frustration of my english tutor. hahaha, too bad.

the work here is starting to become a bit more challenging, and i am quite excited. my study engine is starting to hum and chug to life :) i like the feeling of my brain feeling incedibly alert, like just just before the Os when you're just raring to charge into the exams and gobble the paper down.

joyce: i hope you're satisfied with your results :) youve studied hard and well and i hope you're happy! :D take care of yourself and enjoy having a pick of the schools! muah!

i'm listening to songs on my computer now and it's scary how a bunch of words, some rhyming some not, can carry so many memories. certain songs immediately cause my mind to flashback to a particular scene and i think its pretty incredible. for your mind to immediately transport you to another time with just the melody or the words of a song to trigger it.

i'm excited to sleep tonight. i havent slept much the past two nights and i couldnt stop yawning during chem today. i dont think my chem teacher can be the slightest bit fond of me. everytime he looks at me its either my open mouth and slitty eyes (in a yawn) or me sketching an unflattering cartoon of him. (i got into SO much crap the last time that happened) hahahahaa.

teachers have started giving out lecture books, text books, tutorial books and whatnots. THEY ARE DAMN THICK!!!!!!! my english book 2.8cm (or 1 and a bit inches) (i measured it) and its mudder heavy! and i ONLY have to bring it to class and to tutorials. everything is thick, bulky and heavvvy. the only nice thing i got was a calculator for math. only because it is the smallest of the lot and it gets my sister off my back. she lost her calc and has been bugging me to get another one for her (cos its free rather than $60 if she buys it) so i actually got two calcs. one for bridging course and one for the actual foundation course. :) i like freebies. except this is a geek freebie. scientific calculators... oh man... hahahaa.

i've got news for my closest friends. hahahaha. esp. RARO! text/tag/msn me when you see this! ahhahaa.
