After hard-out shopping for three, four days, relatives finally coaxed us into doing things other than shopping.
On Thurs night we went out for Chinese at Fox Studios, then after that Uncle Tim and Aunty Karen took us round Sydney at night. We went to customs house and from the bar on the top floor we saw a ridiculously good view of Sydney at night. Sea gulls circling above the Opera House and Harbour Bridge looked like fireflies. It was also at the bar I saw for the first time two gay men kiss on the lips. Hahahaa, call me sheltered, but I stood there shell-shocked for a moment before I moved on. They were really hip and trendy yuppies too. haha. After that we walked to the Opera House and had drinks at the open bar. Uncle Tim and Aunty Karen's really good friend who used to run the "hippest club in Aus" now run this other club and we were asked whether we wanted to go. They quickly withdrew their offer when they found out I was underage, but shit man, even I wanted to go. Haha.
Yesterday night we watched Harry Potter at Fox Studios. I know, finally. It couldn't have been better timing though, and I'm so glad we watched it at Fox Studios with their massive screen rather than at some other small cinema.
Tonight we're going to watch this at the Sydney Opera House!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really excited just because it's going to be colourful, noisy, and I have never watched a cabaret before. Another time to dress up and enjoy a really cool night out with family here. (:
Shopping here has been good. If I had wheatgrass shots every morning, I bet I could cover twice of what we covered. The city atmosphere is electric, and with christmas coming, everything, including sales, is twice as good.
Sydney is incredible. I couldn't ask for better family here. They are fun and so happening, I'm so happy here except I could do with seeing my parents and my friends back home. And hans. But moving on, haha, it's such a pity Im going home so soon.
