its just anotherrr sunday :)

hopefully this will be a nice long post considering how little i've posted over the last few weeks. well, i will type as much as i can in 8 minutes. english research project meeting with maryam and umang here in the library with chess too. hopefully that won't take too long cos im quite keen to go home and get stuff done.

i have this awful habit of procrastinating and dandying around, right up till the last minute when im suddenly struck by something unseen and i suddenly get into the studying and get-things-done mood. take for example, yesterday. completely commitment-less saturday, and i actually wake up early. i roll around in bed, get up, muck around, and sort of have brunch. i spent the day doing nothing. chess+carol+jen+me watched army daze for a bit and we don't seem to get sick of it. we can watch it and go hysterical and still watch it again the following week and laugh at the same jokes. so last night, i finally sat down and started on my english summary presentation which is due this coming week. what a pain.

BUT!!!!! after about 2h of work maybe, fi called, and after talking to her for a short while, me+chess+fi conferenced and it was really great. and that's not all! after that, ra called! i was so happy! so two super friends in one night, and i went to bed a happy chappy. talking to ra really reminded me of times in singapore when we would talk into the wee wee hours of the morning. we used to talk despite being completely exhausted, and when i start rambling into the phone, it's time for me to put down. and that happened last night. it was really funny, and damn i miss my friends :)

on friday chess and i went on the school friday activity. it was lots and lots of fun! we went to the beach and it was amazing. we had to walk quite a bit to actually get to the beach, but when we got there it was well worth it. think soft sand like icing, completely clean litter-free beach and sand dunes you can slide down. the teacher brought sleds! so we actually got the sled down the sand dunes, it was super funny. well, i think next week is ice-skating, and the following week is paintball :) can't wait can't wait! hehehe. but i hope chess agrees to come with me!

heaps of photos, and i will post them up as soon as internet gets connected at home. the internet company has botched up our job so many times. they've promised to connect us up about 3 times now but each time they never turn up. ive learnt not to get too excited anymore cos the letdown just becomes worse! hahaa

school trip in about 3 weeks! going to milford sound for 3 days i think and i hope its fun... chess can't come though, but hopefully i will make friends.

i miss my friends and heaps of things in singapore, but like ra said, things are/will pick up fast enough for me. don't think ive forgotten you guys, cos i sure as hell havent, but as always, nothing stops when you're gone, and sad to say, but some friends have moved on. but i guess it is at this time that you know who your true friends are.

we had such a slack slack week this week. wed/thurs/fri and then the weekend! but again, the weekend zipped before my eyes and now its back to school tmr. :S

meeting is starting. so long now... :)
