well, i havent updated in a few days because things have been pretty hectic around here. school's out for a week, results for exams come in a few days, mum's arrived, and we've just moved out of ATS and settled in.
moving out was a real challenge! i shoved everything into plastic bags and such, and when my mum came to move us, chess and my stuff occupied the entire car! up down everywhere. it was pretty amazing. boxes, bags, pillows, everything.
we got back and i spent my evening unpacking and spreading my things out. im the sort of person who can't feel comfortable unless im unpacked. so right now, im comfortably settled and very happy.
spent the last to days pretty much cleaning up the house and helping my mum with laundry and gardening. something, im pretty happy doing. its really such a treat to have my mum here, and i'm just spending this holiday resting and relaxing cos once this week is over, everything is pretty much full on!
there was a bit of land/mud slip from the slope yesterday. so i spent my afternoon (with help of course) shovelling and scooping wed mud and clay. HARD WORK for a tub of lard like me! thank goodness im not too sore today!
